Sapyra Labs is an independent software quality engineering practice. It works with a few teams at a time, which is what makes the hands-on part possible.
What the work usually looks like
Most engagements start the same way: a team ships a product people use, but releases have become uncomfortable. Tests exist yet nobody quite trusts them. A suite fails often enough that failures stop meaning anything. Nobody is certain what a green build actually proves.
The work is to make that honest again — fewer, better checks; a clear idea of what each test level is for; and a release routine the team can follow without heroics.
Principles
- Measure before changing. Recommendations that are not grounded in how the team actually works tend not to survive contact with a deadline.
- Fewer moving parts. A smaller test suite that is trusted beats a large one that is routinely ignored.
- Leave it maintainable. Anything that only works while an outside consultant is present is not an improvement.
- Say what is uncertain. Where evidence is thin, it gets labelled as thin rather than dressed up as a conclusion.
What is out of scope
Sapyra Labs does not sell certification programmes, headcount, or process frameworks. If the honest answer is that a team needs one more engineer rather than a consultant, that is the answer they get.
